"Together, we will fix our economy, secure the border, protect Social Security, bring healthcare to our community, and make history."
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas – "Today I had the honor of voting in Guadalupe County, Texas," said candidate Cassy Garcia, who as a Republican running for Texas' 28th Congressional District voted earlier today near her home in the city of Selma, located northeast of San Antonio.
"When my great-grandparents came here from Mexico, never in their wildest dreams would they have imagined that one of their descendants — let alone a woman — would one day run for Congress.
Garcia is running in the newly redistricted Texas 28th Congressional District of Texas.“But as my abuelo (Grandfather) Pablo always told me: mija, en este país todo es posible. He was so right — and I’m running for Congress to keep the American Dream alive for the next generation," said Garcia. "To do that, we must turn the page on the failed Biden-Cuellar-Pelosi agenda."
"South Texans from all walks of life — Republicans, Independents, and Democrats alike — are fired up about our campaign. I know we can do this because I believe in South Texas, and America — the place where everything is possible.
"Together we will fix our economy, secure the border, protect Social Security, bring healthcare to our community, and make history.”
