"Texans are ensuring that the Lone Star State continues to be the best place to live, work, play and raise a family."
Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas –“With an estimated 1,000 people a day moving to the Lone Star State, growing infrastructure is essential to the success of every Texan," said Todd Staples, President of the Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA) following Tuesday's passage of Statewide Ballot Propositions 6, 7 and 8 to expand water, electricity, and broadband infrastructure.
“Propositions 6, 7 and 8 will together help to support the development of new water supplies to meet the needs of our growing population; strengthen the reliability of our electric grid by ensuring it performs no matter the weather, as well as increase the supply of electricity by encouraging additional generation; and close the digital divide by expanding broadband access in rural, underserved, and remote areas.
“TXOGA is pleased to see infrastructure propositions to expand water, electricity and broadband pass with overwhelming support from voters.
"By voting to approve these propositions, Texans are ensuring that the Lone Star State continues to be the best place to live, work, play and raise a family."
