BUCKINGHAM: We're Restoring the Rule of Law at the Southern Border!

Together, Texas and the Trump Administration will put a stop to the rampant drug and human trafficking at the border.

By Dawn Buckingham, Texas General Land Commisssioner

Texas Insider Report: AUSTIN, Texas As your Texas General Land Office Commissioner, I have directed the GLO to continue to use every tool at our disposal to help the Trump Administration secure our border – and in the past week I've joined the broadcasts of NewsNation and NewsMax to discuss putting a stop to the violence at the border.

I’ve been very vocal in my support of – and resolved in my commitment to assist – President Trump’s mission to deport the dangerous criminal illegal immigrants on American soil. As I discussed with NewsNation, I’ve offered the Trump Administration the use of state-owned land under my jurisdiction to build deportation facilities and aid in our nation’s border security operations.

That includes the 1,400 acres along the Rio Grande that Texas’s General Land Office (GLO) recently acquired, where Texas has already built a mile and a half of border wall.

I am so thankful to finally have a president and partner in the White House who is committed to "Making America Safe Again."

Together, Texas and the Trump Administration will put a stop to the rampant drug and human trafficking at the border.

My office will do whatever it takes to get violent criminals out of our country and end their threat to the prosperity of our nation and the peace of our communities.
