CONG. WEBER: A Man Who Can't be Held Responsible for Mishandling Classified Information has No Business in the Oval Office

Joe Biden is Mentally Unfit to be President of the United States

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — In January, the Biden White House announced they would be halting approvals for liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports, despite previous studies showing that American LNG exports create net public benefits, protect global energy security, create American jobs, and reduce emissions.

This disastrous decision from President Biden is a blatant political ploy to satisfy radical climate activists that are dead set on shutting down American energy production, but it won’t protect the environment – banning LNG exports will only increase our dependency on China, the biggest climate polluter in the world.

It also severely harms our national security, discouraging foreign investment in American LNG production and empowering foreign adversaries like Russia or Iran to control LNG prices on the global stage.

We should be unleashing American energy production and providing our allies with a clean and secure energy source, not making it harder to produce by adding permitting red tape, threatening our energy and national security, and killing American jobs.

Southeast Texas is the epicenter of America's LNG industry, with multiple export facilities in Brazoria and Jefferson County. These facilities are major job providers and help supply clean energy products on a global scale.

Yesterday, we passed the Unlocking our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2024 that puts a stop to the Biden Administration’s ban on LNG exports and streamlines the permitting process by getting rid of the requirement for the Department of Energy to authorize exports and giving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission total authority over the approval process.

Joe Biden is Mentally Unfit to be President of the United States

On Thursday, Special Counsel Robert Hur released a scathing report as part of the Department of Justice's investigation into Joe Biden's mishandling of classified documents. Despite damning evidence of Biden's "willful" retention and disclosure of classified documents, Hur's report recommended no criminal charges against Biden, as Hur determined that Biden's memory had such "significant limitations" that Hur could not convince a jury that Biden held a "mental state of willfulness" that a serious felony requires.

In a desperate attempt to push back on Hur's report and show the American people that he possessed the mental fortitude necessary to be President of the United States, Biden held an impromptu press conference on Thursday evening, which was nothing short of a disaster.

During the press conference, Biden referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the "president of Mexico," falsely claiming that Hur's report found that Biden did not share classified information and forgot a reporter's question

A man who can't even be held responsible for mishandling classified information properly has absolutely no business occupying the Oval Office.

The Department of Justice's failure to pursue criminal charges against Biden, in light of his clear breach of the law, also showcases their glaring double standard in the application of justice, which is fundamentally unAmerican.

I joined Rep. Ronny Jackson, a former White House physician, in sending a letter to Joe Biden demanding that he take a cognitive exam. The letter calls on the Cabinet to swiftly begin the process of invoking the 25th Amendment if President Biden is unwilling or unable to sit for an assessment.

Jackson's letter follows four previous letters sent urging President Biden to take a cognitive exam, which have all been ignored. This letter also follows the Department of Justice's Hur Report, which described President Biden as a "well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory" and stated that "He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended."
