House Passes Legislation to Stand With Israel
Texas Insider Report: WASHINGTON, D.C. – Since day one, my platform has been to stand with Israel. I am proud to announce that House Republicans passed my cosponsored legislation H. Con. Res. 57 by a vote of 412-9. This bill rejects all forms of antisemitism and ensures that the United States will always be a staunch partner and supporter of Israel, one of our closest friends and allies.
Introduced the Student Debt Alternative & CTE Awareness Act
I introduced the bipartisan Student Debt Alternative and CTE Awareness Act alongside Congresswoman Marie Gluesenkamp Perez to increase participation in the technical fields through improved awareness of alternatives to traditional higher education opportunities. Costly 4-year degrees create burdensome financial obligations and decades of debt, whereas CTE programs significantly reduce education times and cost.

I had two Financial Services Committee hearings. In the first hearing, I discussed how federal banking regulators are incorporating partisan climate policies into banking regulations under the facade of safety and soundness. The Biden Administration’s climate policies and outside pressures channel credit away from certain energy sectors, like oil and gas, and move it towards more “green sectors” that are a threat to Main Street.
