The Internal Revenue Service will use its data to create a Trump Account for 60 million American children, providing $1,000 for babies born between 2025 and the end of 2028, along with a tax-advantaged investment account for all children younger than 18 that parents, guardians, employers and others can donate to.
Texans don’t take kindly to outsiders interfering in their affairs. They might not be aware, then, of a shady financing pipeline that is turning ordinary car wrecks into paydays for investors who never set foot in the state, costing Texas households more than $4,500 a year. This coming winter, the Texas Legislature will have a chance to require transparency into who is funding lawsuits. They can keep frivolous lawsuits down so real victims can seek justice.

Governor Greg Abbott announced Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. is establishing a new U.S. hub in Dallas, with a $684 million capital investment that will create more than 3,800 jobs. A Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) grant of $43,849,500 and a Veteran Created Job Bonus of $40,000 have been extended to Morgan Stanley. TEF is a performance-based grant, administered by the Texas Economic Development & Tourism Office within the Office of the Governor.

Texas Comptroller Don Huffines today applauded the state’s most recent employment report data, which affirmed that Texas continues to outpace national trends, adding 159,000 nonfarm jobs between August 2025 and August 2026. We’ve offered up plenty of ways to lower diesel and gas prices - including a temporary suspension of gas taxes and suspending ethanol and other “renewable” fuel standards. The WSJ has embraced these ideas as well. Instead, Senate Republicans and some White House officials are pushing a hair-brained ban on exporting fuels. The current price spike here and globally is not a U.S. problem- it's not a domestic shortfall. It's a global one.

In August 2019, Trump confirmed he was eyeing Greenland, referring to the massive island as "strategically nice" for the U.S. True, the new deal Trump just signed on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly with the Danish and Greenlandic prime ministers doesn't acquire Greenland for the U.S. But in every other way, this deal is a huge win for the administration.
