“Here in the great state of Texas, we unapologetically uphold the values that make Texas, Texas. The Graveyard of Destructive Ideas

So out of nowhere, the public is warned that the scorching planet will be inundated by rising seas in a mere decade. Or that millions of transgender youth are our next civil rights frontier, given that they suffer in silence without political advocacy, new laws, programs, and the chance for "life-saving," powerful hormonal treatments and radical sex-reassignment surgeries. Indeed, the travel time from an outlandish idea by the faculty lounge to liberal status quo is a mere few years.

Cornyn, Lee, GOP Senators Fight Against Counting Late Ballots in Future Elections

Congress – exercising its Constitutional Authority to set the times, places, and manner of Federal Elections – designated one Federal Election Day, argue Sen. Cornyn and his fellow Senators, underscoring that states are not free to hold “rolling elections” by counting late-arriving ballots days or weeks after Election Day. States that do so clearly violate the certainty, finality, and trust Congress intended by having Nationwide Elections take place on one set date.

McCULLOUGH: It's Not Speculating – When She Speaks this Way She's Signaling. And She's Not Alone

Sometimes what people say reveals their true character. Other times, what they threaten reveals the Soul of a Movement. Recent comments by former Obama & Biden official Susan Rice — which are being repeated and amplified by her Democrat allies — reveal not just political rancor, but a startling willingness by The Left to endorse political retribution against American citizens simply for holding different views. And they're not policy disagreements – they're veiled threats.

CONG. BABIN: Supreme Court Undercuts Presidential Trade Authority

Presidents are meant to lead on trade and protect our economy, not unelected judges. The Supreme Court of the United States recently blocked a key tariff tool used by President Donald Trump, undercutting executive authority at a critical moment for American workers and businesses. This ruling is deeply disappointing. Chief Justice John Roberts, along with Amy Coney Barrett and Neil Gorsuch, sided with the Court’s left wing.

Democrats Are Already Dumping on Newsom

The recent Democratic polling for Election 2028 has been posted. There’s a field, although not a very compelling one. Some governors in blue states that people can’t flee from fast enough, progressive twits who can’t speak English all that well, and some would-be moderates hoping to recoup the working classes that broke for Trump and the Republicans in 2016 and 2024. And then there’s California Gavin Newsom. Is he the new thing that Democrats are looking for to lead them into 2028?

BARONE: Marco Rubio, More Than Just the Good Cop

It was a Trumpian take, followed by an implicit denunciation of opening up trade relations with China. But rather than dwell on that critique, Marco Rubio's speech delivered at the Munich Security Conference segued back to "centuries of shared history, Christian faith, culture, heritage, language, ancestry," all parts of "the common civilization to which we have fallen heir." The audience, as evidenced by its standing ovation, took Rubio's tough but futuristic comments as compliments.
