Democrats Begin Admitting 'Quiet Part Out Loud,' as Polling Shows Biden Losing Support from Typically Reliable Voting Blocs

MEMO: "The rise in Trump support among Non-Registered Voters has run up against a long-held Democrat priority of growing the Voter Rolls."

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — Democrat Party leaders across the country are seriously concerned about the amount of support Donald Trump is pulling from the party's usually reliable – though fracturing demographic base. "If we were to blindly register non-voters and get them on the rolls, we would be distinctly aiding Trump’s quest," said an internal party memo circulated among top Democrat donors – reflecting a growing level of panic within the party over its "non-partisan" Voter Registration efforts potentially helping former President Donald Trump.

The confidential memo circulated among Democrat Party donors is drawing criticism from those who say the "Voter Registration" efforts have been a "partisan scam" from the start, and casts doubt on the long-standing registration push that has typically led to favorable results in previous elections.

The memo comes as recent polling data suggests Biden is hemorrhaging support from key demographic groups that historically have been registered by Democrats – and then voted for Democrats.

The memo argues Democrats should focus their registration efforts in only "specific, heavily pro-Biden populations," The Washington Post reported this week.

"The rise in Trump support among non-registered voters has run up against a long-held Democrat policy priority of growing the voter rolls," said the memo.

Democrat Party donors have also been bickering over whether the party should continue using non-profits to register unregistered voters – over increasing fears it could help down-ballot Republican Candidates, and Mr. Trump.

Some analysts have said that the Washington Post article confirms that Democrat "voter registration" efforts, often reported as being non-partisan in nature, are in fact working solely to register Democrats.

"Left-wing strategists have accidentally now said the quiet part out loud:

"Their ‘non-partisan’ left-wing 'voter registration' efforts have always been highly partisan operations designed to help Democrats," said Jason Snead, Executive Director of the Honest Elections Project.

"This admission raises grave questions about other programs the left also claims are 'non-partisan' – including President Biden’s executive order using taxpayers’ money to mobilize liberal voters.

"The press should take note of, and remember this rare moment of honesty from the left the next time they cry ‘voter suppression,'" said Snead.

"Democrats donors are now getting memos telling them to stop funding 'voter registration' non-profits because unregistered voters are now leaning toward Trump," posted investigative researcher Parker Thayer on X, responding to the report.

"It’s all a partisan scam," he added.

In February, Gallup Polling showed:

Polling also shows that young adults are supporting Democrats at their lowest level in almost two decades.

"By 2010, young adults were the only age category giving the Democrats an edge, and their Democrat orientation remained strong until it fell to just 8% in 2023 – the slimmest margin seen since 2005," Gallup says.

Perhaps most concerning is the fact that Gallup Polling shows over the past year, the number of non-registered voters identifying as Democrat (or leaning Democrat) has sunk to 42%, while the number of non-registered voters who identify as Republican (or leaning Republican) has grown to 40%.

"If you’d ask me what keeps me up at night, it’s not that young people of color are going to defect to the Republican camp.

"My worst case scenario is that memos like this create a disinvestment – and that makes our job very hard," said Maria Teresa Kumar, President & CEO of Voto Latino.

"From a nonpartisan perspective, we should help close the turnout gap – which means if Latinos, Blacks and Asian Americans are registered at lower rates, then we need to increase registration," Biden Campaign Pollster Matt Barreto told the Washington Post.

"The unregistered people of color are still leaning Democratic. They might need more of a push... but they're not leaning in the opposite direction," he argued.
