WASHINGTON, D.C. (Texas Insider Report) — Kamala Harris – bolstered by the biased mainstream media – is attempting to rewrite her four-year record as Vice President of the United States. But, polling shows a majority of voters blame Harris for a number of the international and domestic failures in the Biden White House.

The recently released Sept. 8th New York Times-Siena College Poll shows that Americans say Harris is at least "partially to blame" for:

  • the Border Crisis – by a 63% to 28%, 35-point margin,
    • 39% of Americans say Harris holds “a lot of blame” for the Border Crisis, while
    • just 16% of the country says Harris holds “no blame at all.”
  • Even 32% of Democrats admit Harris is "partially to blame" or responsible for the border crisis that's allowed millions of illegal immigrants to stream across the Southern Border,
  • while 54% deny she is to blame at all.
These are bleak numbers for a woman who is allegedly polling neck and neck with former President Donald Trump in key battleground states – but it gets worse:

  • Independents say by a 34-point margin, 63% to 29%, that Harris is at least partially to blame for the Border Crisis, and
  • Hispanics blame Harris for the Border Crisis by a 28-point margin, 52% to 24%.
Then there is the Economy

Despite Harris vaguely claiming to be able to bring change to the country and reduce inflation, a plurality of Americans hold Harris at least partially responsible for the high cost of food, fuel, and basic goods.

The New York Times-Siena College Poll shows that:

  • Americans – by a 15-point margin of 54% to 39% – believe that Harris is at least "partially responsible" for the unsustainable cost of basic needs.
    • Of those, 26% of voters say Harris should receive “a lot of blame” for high prices.
  • Independents blame Harris by 16 points, 54% to 38%, and
  • even 20% of Democrats hold Harris at least partially responsible for rising costs, while
    • 71% find her blameless.
  • Hispanics find Harris to blame at least partially for higher prices by seven points, 47% to 40%.
Voters also hold Harris at least partially responsible for the disastrous and deadly U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan two years ago, where thirteen U.S. servicemembers lost their lives.

Americans say by thirteen points, 50% to 37%, that Harris holds “a lot or some of the blame” for the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, with 24% of the country saying she deserves a lot of the blame.

Independents blame Harris 45% to 41%, and even 22% of Democrats say Harris is at least partially to blame for the way the withdrawal was handled. Hispanics agree by three points, 41% to 38%.

In addition, the Times-Siena Poll shows that Americans say – by a margin of six points, 52% to 46% – that Harris is a “risky choice” for president.

As for what the country is looking for, Americans say by a vast 27-point margin – 61% to 34% – that they think the next President should “represent a major change from Joe Biden.”

So far, Harris has unsuccessfully attempted to portray herself as a blameless bystander during the disastrous four years of the Biden-Harris Administration. The Sept. 11 to Sept. 16 New York Times-Siena Poll shows this isn’t necessarily working when compared to their polling conducted Sept. 8th – just before the first debate between Trump and Harris.

Pre-debate Independent Voters backed Trump on the economy by 14 points, 40% to 54% – but that gap has widened to 18 points.

In the latest poll, independents back Trump on the economy 58% to 36%, a four-point gain for Trump since the debate – and a four-point loss for Harris.

By double-digits, Americans say Kamala Harris is "at least partially responsible for" crippling inflation, the porous Southern Border, our disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan, and well over half the country thinks the next president should be a departure from Joe Biden’s failed agenda.

Whether that will be enough to tip the scales toward Former President Trump in November is certainly no guarantee. But it's clear the American people are not buying Harris’ attempt to minimize her involvement during four years of steering the country into poverty and disarray under Joe Biden.
