CONG. WEBER: Its 'Bidenflation' & 'Bidenomics' vs. the Trump Trial Verdict

Bidenflation is a tax on ALL Americans, and it has skyrocketed because of Joe Biden and Far Left Democrats’ reckless spending.

By Congressman Randy Weber

Texas Insider Report: (WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Our "weaponized justice system" was on full display in New York City last week – against former President Donald Trump. Alvin Bragg (at right,) is a Soros-backed District Attorney who has made it his mission to go after President Trump. Judge Juan Merchan and a jury charged President Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.

Biden and the Democrats have now let the genie out of the bottle.

They’ve weaponized our justice system and transformed the United States into a Banana Republic where every former President – and his supporters – will be targeted with LAWFARE once leaving office.

The case relied on the testimony of Michael Cohen, a convicted perjurer who has lied to Congress, prosecutors, his family, the American people, and even admitted to stealing from the Trump organization.

Throughout the trial, the judge barred President Trump from speaking on these facts, blocked a former FEC commissioner from testifying on President Trump’s behalf, and hindered President Trump’s defense team.

This verdict will not withstand an appeal and was only brought as an attempt to interfere with the 2024 election. The radical partisan Democrats behind this abuse of our justice system will not prevail.

The voters will settle this on November 5th.

I believe this was a rigged verdict against President Trump, and it is a despicable miscarriage of justice.

Bidenflation

According to Fox Business, “Biden touts cooling inflation, but prices up nearly 20% since 2021.”

Compared to three short years ago, Americans are spending over $12,800 more annually to buy the basics because of "Bidenflation" and "Bidenomics," – that's over $1,000 more a month than they were three years ago.
Protecting our 2nd Amendment

This week, I joined my Texas colleague Rep. Roger Williams to introduce a resolution expressing Congress's strong support for the 2nd amendment and condemning the Biden Administration's anti-gun agenda and their attacks on law abiding gun owners. Now more than ever, this issue is vitally important as we have seen an unprecedented number of attacks by this administration on Americans' rights to keep and bear arms.

On October 27, 2023, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) paused the issuance and renewal of export licenses for firearms, ammunition, and related materials. This was supposed to be for 90 days. It is now over 180 days. Businesses are shuttering because they can't fulfill the contracts they made prior to the pause, devastating the industry.

To justify the pause and policy changes, BIS mischaracterized government reports claiming that U.S.-exported guns are contributing to international crime. However, even the ATF admitted that less than 1% of guns lawfully exported from the U.S. are connected to such a crime. Most crimes are committed by guns smuggled through the black market—a phenomenon that will only increase with the rule.

The new BIS rule includes devastating changes: Licenses will lose 4-year validity, increasing red tape and backlogs. Moves 36 countries to the ineligible list. Increases the number of firearms and component ineligible for export. Reduces license exceptions, significantly increasing the backlog.

Specifically, the resolution:

  • Reaffirms the support for the Second Amendment and the constitutional guarantee that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed
  • Disapproves of President Biden's gun control agenda and hostility towards the lawful gun industry
  • Opposes the Biden administration's continuous abuse of executive branch authority to restrict citizen's fundamental Second Amendment right
  • Disapproves of recent administrative rule and policy changes by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to restrict citizen's Second Amendment right
  • Disapproves of recent administrative rule and policy changes by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to restrict citizen's Second Amendment right
