Job Growth Continues in Texas' Upstream Oil & Natural Gas Sector

"The Texas oil and natural gas industry continues to play a huge leadership role in enhancing national and energy security in our nation," said TXOGA president Todd Staples after the Texas Workforce Commission said upstream oil & natural gas employment grew by 2,600 jobs in August. July’s gains were revised downward to a still-solid 3,100 jobs added.
