The Texas House crossed another major deadline at midnight Wednesday morning, shutting down the ability for any more Senate Bills to be considered on the House Floor. This 2021 Session's already brought several policy victories for Texas Republicans, and more are expected to be delivered to Gov. Abbott's desk in these last few days of session. Here's how to track the progress.

"In just the first four months of this year alone, the Texas Department of Public Safety has seized more fentanyl than is needed to kill every man, woman & child in the State of New York. President Biden's open border policies have led to a surge in this deadly drug coming into our communities, and we must do more to combat this crisis,” said Gov. Abbott during a Thursday a press conference in Ft. Worth.

“Texas has the 9th largest economy in the world, and this budget ensures it will continue to flourish," said Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick after passage of the 2022-2023 Texas State Budget. "Because of the border crisis precipitated by current federal policies, we maintained support for enhanced Border Security and provided pay increases for our brave Dept. of Public Safety Troopers & other Law Enforcement."

The declining margins of victory for Republicans in Texas is reportedly due to changes in demographics, but the bigger reason is the increased exploitation of Early & Mail-In Voting by the Democrat machine in the Lone Star state. The Republican-controlled Texas legislature is wrapping up its biennial session this weekend, and the nation is watching to see if it enacts true election reform.

Flashback: Nearly half of Florida's Latino Voters cast a ballot for President Trump in November, and Democrats were roundly criticized for once again failing to build an outreach effort sufficient enough to even beat even Donald Trump in the Sunshine State. As talks over Joe Biden's supposedly "bipartisan" infrastructure plans have shown little progress for weeks, moderate Democrats in the House & Senate are withholding their endorsements. And with the likelihood of a Democrat-only backed push for Mr. Biden’s $4 trillion tax increase & spending spree growing – sagging prospects for 2022 are increasingly on Democrat's minds.

Texans reject the 'woke' philosophies that espouse that one race or sex is better than another, and that someone by virtue of their race or sex is innately racist, oppressive or sexist," said Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, following the Texas Senate's passage of House Bill 3979.

"Title 42 is a pandemic-era policy that's allowed DHS to rapidly expel migrants who come to the border during the coronavirus pandemic," said South Texas Cong. Tony Gonzales, who represents Texas’ 23rd District encompasses almost 40% of the total border territory in the country.
