HEGAR: Texas' State Sales Tax Revenues Jump 14.7% in July, and Total $3.9 Billion

"The sharpest increase from a year ago was once again in Oil & Gas Mining, but receipts from construction, manufacturing and wholesale trade were also up by double digits for the 8th consecutive month," said Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar, announcing that Texas' State Sales Tax Revenues jumped 14.7% from the same period in July 2021, and represent the highest monthly tax collections on record.
