"I am leading this effort to uphold American sovereignty – and our 2nd Amendment,," said Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, as he and members of the Senate and House of Representatives filed an amicus brief in the Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. v. Estados Unidos Mexicanos case. In their brief, they argue a lawsuit filed by Mexico in U.S. Federal Court against American firearms manufacturers – for crimes committed by Mexican cartels in Mexico – is a violation of American sovereignty and threatens the 2nd Amendment.
The 11-member Council, established by the Legislature and chaired by RRC Chairman Christi Craddick, was tasked with making recommendations to lawmakers on updates necessary for the oversight and regulation of production, pipeline transportation, and storage of hydrogen. The hydrogen industry is already well-established in Texas, primarily serving the petrochemical and refining industries.

Deflated by the resounding November defeat, the left now believes it can magically rebound by destroying President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet nominees. Many of Trump's picks are well outside the usual Washington, D.C./New York political, media, and corporate nexus. But that is precisely the point -- to insert reformers into a bloated, incompetent, and weaponized government who are not part of it.
“Let’s just say the quiet part out loud,” said outgoing Democrat Cong. Dean Phillips – who spoke for many Americans when he posted on X, "Certain Americans are indeed above the law." Joe Biden began his presidency with a series of lies about his son’s influence-peddling and international business dealings, and is ending his career by leaving the White House with a stunning broken promise to the American people. One Senator said he believes Biden will go down in history as not only the worst president ever – but also as the most corrupt.
After their stunning loss in the election, all Democrats and the liberal media can talk about is "rebranding." I don’t think that will help. The reason people think Democrats are the party of Open Borders, Runaway Inflation, Transgenderism and Foreign Wars is because that’s what they gave us. Branding is all about drilling down to what a product or party stands for. Now that virtually every Democrat idea is seen as “insane,” nobody wants them anymore. Democrats – and any "leaders" they find – need to decide who they are and what they want to be.
"In 2019, the Texas Legislature passed House Bill 1325 by Rep. Tracy King of Uvalde to bolster agriculture in Texas. Part of that bill allowed for the commercialization of hemp – which might include un-removable, non-intoxicating trace amounts of Delta 9 THC. This effort will have broad bipartisan support in the Senate, and I trust in the House they will also see the danger of these products and pass this bill with overwhelming support,” said Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, announcing that Senate Bill 3 will be carried by Lubbock Senator Charles Perry.
"Last week, I was joined by several members of the Texas Legislature, Cong. Chip Roy, Vice President Chris Cabrera of the National Border Patrol Council, and the mother & grandmother of Jocelyn Nungaray in a ceremonial launch of 'The Jocelyn Initiative' – a new effort by the Texas General Land Office to help secure the Southern Border. We'll allocate all the land under the agency's jurisdiction that can be used by the Federal Government for deportation operations. Jocelyn was 12 years old when she was brutally assaulted & murdered by two illegal immigrants."
“Trump’s DEA Pick Pulls Out in Latest Setback.” With all that’s happening in the World, this is their Number One story of the day. Besides, he didn’t pull out; I pulled him out because I did not like what he said to my pastors and other supporters. But, more importantly, what’s my “latest” setback??? I just won the Presidency of the United States! They haven’t written a good story about me in YEARS…”
The cover-up and focus on Hunter Biden's years of illicit international influence-peddling and "Family Business" was never really about Hunter Biden – it was, is, and forever will be about covering up the criminal actions of President Joe Biden. Every president hands out pardons – but not like this. Joe Biden pardoned his son before he was even sentenced. The U.S. Justice System that has been weaponized against so many other Americans was, for Joe Biden and his son, used as their protection. And, that means particularly for Joe Biden.
In 2022 Congress passed legislation creating a Civil Cause of Action for victims of Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery, or NCII, to sue individuals responsible for publishing even AI-generated “deepfake revenge pornography.” However, because Civil Actions can be time-consuming and expensive, Senators Ted Cruz & Amy Klobuchar (D-MN,) have now passed the "TAKE IT DOWN Act" to criminalize the publication of NCII and require social media websites to remove the content within 48 hours of notice from a victim.
Here's an idea for Elon Musk & Vivek Ramaswamy – the co-chairs of the exciting new Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. It could raise tens of billions of dollars, overnight! Sell unused or underused U.S. Assets to the highest bidder. Sell buildings, loan notes, furniture, unused land, computers, slices of the electromagnetic spectrum, vehicles, planes, and the like. Not including land and minerals, estimates are that the federal assets have a market value of more than $8 trillion.

"Principles become much harder to defend when their most famous defenders have compromised them flagrantly," said one well-known liberal critic. And that was before Joe Biden's fellow Democrat Party members criticized his dramatic and unexpected Sunday Evening "full & unconditional pardon" by arguing it gave away "the moral high ground" they believe Biden and the anti-Trump Resistance had established. They were primed and ready to attack him, but how can they now that Joe Biden's just made it impossible.
After a dramatic and unexpected Sunday Evening "full & unconditional pardon" of son Hunter, Joe Biden is facing a rapidly growing chorus of blowback from within his Democrat Party as state and national leaders are raising their voices in criticism to his now-abandoned pledge to not interfere in his son’s legal problems – which was repeatedly and adamantly sold to the American Public as Mr. Biden's principled stand to stop the U.S. Justice System from weaponization, legal warfare, and political influence. What are voters to make of that idea now?
