The Supreme Court recently heard oral arguments in Idaho/Moyle v. United States regarding Joe Biden’s "Emergency Medical Treatment & Labor Act" (EMTALA) guidance – a blatantly transparent attempt to use existing Federal Laws to force physicians across the nation to perform abortions, especially in states with pro-life protections. As a board-certified obstetrician, I have practiced under EMTALA for over 30 years, and it has never been confusing to me – or to any of my peers.

Title IX is a Civil Rights Law granting protections to women by prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sex in any educational program that receives federal money – including K-12 schools, Colleges & Universities. Mr. Biden's new rules contort these protections for women by forcing schools to accommodate the wishes of men claiming to identify as women (or “transgender,”) and allows them to enter female-only spaces and join female-only organizations.

Israel showed Iran last week – and sent a larger "message" to the world – that it could and would send a (retaliatory) barrage of missiles at Iran's nuclear sites with reasonable assurances they could not be stopped. By comparison, Iran's earlier and more massive attack on Israel was a huge flop. An estimated 99% failed to hit their targets. These developments mean it should be harder for Iran to shake down Joe Biden and others for hostage bribes or Iran-deal giveaways on the implied threat of Iran successfully nuking the Jewish state.

Congressman Tony Gonzales toured the site of a new and upcoming VA healthcare facility in El Paso. Congressman Gonzales helped secure $700 million for the construction of this project through his position on the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs. The new facility will be located on Fort Bliss near the William Beaumont Army Medical Center and will improve access to care for more than 54,000 veterans in the El Paso area.
“Many states irresponsibly & unconstitutionally changed their voting policies prior to the 2020 Election - but fortunately we did things differently and fought to uphold Texas law,” said Attorney General Ken Paxton after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a case brought by a political activist group and backed by Texas Democrats to overturn & weaken Texas' voter integrity laws for mail-in voting. The existing safeguards will remain in place.
