ELDER: The Founding Fathers Funded Government Through Tariffs

President Trump correctly points out that tariffs, at one time, served as the principal source of federal government revenue. From the nation's founding until the Civil War, tariffs generated 90% of federal revenue. From the Civil War until 1913, when the Constitution was amended to provide an income tax, tariffs produced 50%. In 1900, government at all three levels -- federal, state & local -- took less than 9% in taxes and fees from the American people. Today, it takes about 32%.

Cong. Roger Williams: President Trump’s SBA Will Fight – for Main Street America!

"With President Trump’s pro-growth, pro-business initiatives and his choice of Kelly Loeffler to lead the Small Business Administration (SBA,) businesses across our nation are filled with new hope and certainty. As a small business owner myself, I know the importance of a strong economy and support from Washington, DC. Joe Biden turned his back on Main Street, and crushed Small Business with inflation, regulations, and a dwindling economy," says Texas Cong. Roger Williams, Chairman of the House Small Business Committee.

BONEY: A Troubling Connection Between Microsoft & China

In my years of working in and around politics, one thing is abundantly clear: we must strongly support law enforcement (#BackTheBlue) while also taking a firm stance against China – especially when it comes to safeguarding our Online Security. This is critical today because online data represents not only an invaluable asset, but also a significant vulnerability. Our nation cannot afford to jeopardize the privacy and security of its citizens, but unfortunately recent events show this is becoming a real risk.

CONG. McCAUL: Oversight of Taxpayer Dollars & USAID’s Core Mission

"When I chaired the Foreign Affairs Committee last Congress, the Biden State Department notified me of many wasteful programs — both within USAID and the State Department. As chairman, I put 'holds' on those programs, which meant the administration should have stopped their efforts to fund these initiatives. But they were so committed to their woke causes, they blew through those holds and spent the money anyway — bucking longstanding protocol," said Cong. Michael McCaul.

CONG. BABIN: Doing What Joe Biden Refused to – Restoring Law & Order

"When President Biden’s policies left the U.S.-Mexico Border unprotected, Texas stepped up. Through Operation Lone Star, Governor Abbott and Texas' citizens led the charge to uphold immigration laws and protect our communities – investing over $11 BILLION to do what Joe Biden refused to. Now the Texas Congressional delegation in Congress is united in demanding that Washington, D.C. reimburse our state for the infrastructure and resources spent securing the Southern Border," says Cong. Babin

States Are Green-Lighting Migrant Crime -- Trump Fights Back

New York is already getting sued by the Trump administration for prioritizing illegal aliens over the safety of Americans. Get ready for New York City to be slammed with similar suits. New York Gov. Kathy Hochul blusters that the legal action is a "worthless, publicity-driven lawsuit" that will "be a total failure." Hochul insists "New York is not backing not down." She's dead wrong about the merits of the lawsuit. It's a slam dunk.

ALEXANDER: This Makes Perfect Sense, but Fake News Wants Fake News

The left and their comrades in the MSM are whining about Donald Trump renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America – but notice they only bring up objections, avoiding mention of the favorable reasons. The most obvious is that “America” includes Mexico and the Lower Continents too – which I haven’t read in a single fake news article. The left rails against conservatives who refuse to call transgenders by their newly chosen opposite gender names, but yet seems to have no problem renaming landmarks.

Barack Obama Created DOGE's Pre-Cursor via Exec. Order in 2011 – to Cut Waste & Spending!

Believe it or not, it was actually – literally – Barack Obama who founded DOGE. On Nov. 9th, 2011, then-President Obama signed an Executive Order to create "The U.S. Digital Service" to bring in his tech bros — kids from Google — as "Presidential Innovation Fellows" and deployed them, in his words, to Government Agencies as SWAT Teams to innovate and cut spending. Yes, this is Barack Obama's idea – yet surprise-surprise, not a single Democrat ever claimed it was causing a "Constitutional Crisis."

HANSON: Sorry Democrats & Liberals. DOGE Is 100% Legal – Here’s Why

Let’s get straight what Elon Musk is trying to do – and dispel Democrat's mis-truths right from the start. He’s going through the Federal Government and finding unbelievable Waste & Fraud, and more. He has Executive & Statutory Authority, and is not a "freelancer" – he was appointed by the president of the United States who created the Dept. of Government Efficiency, or DOGE. Mr. Musk has the same powers as the National Security Adviser – and as for impounding funds, Joe Biden set the precedent.

Lt. Gov. Patrick: Texas Senate Passes Bill Increasing Homestead Exemption to $140,000, and $150,000 for Seniors

“In 2015 when I became Lt. Governor, the Homestead Exemption was $15,000. Today its $100,000 – and $110,000 for seniors. In 2023, the $100,000 Homestead Exemption was codified into the Texas Constitution after voters passed Prop 4 with 83% of the vote. This makes the $100,000 Homestead Exemption permanent, and homeowners receive tax relief every single year – forever. This passage of SB 4 would increase the Homestead Exemption to $140,000, and $150,000 for seniors."
