The anniversary of the Capitol Hill riot on January 6th was something the average media liberal celebrated more than the birth of their first child, and they probably love it more too.

How do you explain why an ultra-experienced politician makes a major speech on the behalf of a legislative goal that's both doomed to fail – and unpopular with voters? Especially when his speech is boycotted by the bill's chief backers and consists of one big lie after another? ​​​​​​​This makes the big lies in Biden's Atlanta speech on Tuesday all the more inexcusable.

In early 2021 an upbeat Joe Biden boasted he would end the COVID virus by the summer of 2021 - by following "the science," no less. But then a series of renewed COVID-19 outbreaks hit, helping further destroy Biden's already waning popularity. In reaction, the Left is now calling for realism - and is even newly curious about the origins of the virus and the need to "get back to normal."

Let me be clear: There's no health or safety excuse whatsoever for Teachers & Students not to be in the classroom – as the first wave of COVID-19 should have taught us. Yet in Chicago an incredible 91% of union teachers voted to go on strike. Even Chicago's liberal Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot has attacked the Teachers Unions for "holding kids hostage." She is right.

Looking back in a few years, it's entirely possible we will see December 2021 was the high-water mark of the "Democrat's Great Progressive Coup." In fact, 2022 will be key to securing victory. We can see their plan, and it’s weak. Saturate MSNBCNN with a peril to the Republic posed by us people who dissent from the regime. But now the normal folks are getting the message.

Was Jan. 6th really comparable to Pearl Harbor and 9/11 – during which 3,000 Americans went to their deaths in each event and major wars followed – as Vice President Kamala Harris said yesterday? If Joe Biden and the Democrats have no other issue to run on this November, ​​​​​​​what does that tell us about them?

Who looted, burned & attacked courthouses and police precincts, caused over 30 deaths, injured 2,000 policemen, and destroyed at least $2 billion in property? And now Democrats have become despondent over President Biden's sinking poll numbers? His economic, energy, foreign policy, border and COVID-19 policies have all lost support.

Every Republican is a threat to the Democrats right now. They're guilty of the unforgivable sins of loving this country and being conservative. Those are one of the few things that leftists will actually condemn in public these days – because compared to ANY Democrat, but especially the senile figurehead in the White House, they’d easily crush any of them.

Why do Democrats believe they can pass controversial, far-reaching legislation without holding a majority in the Senate and the support of the American Public? Sen. Joe Manchin has consistently said he couldn't support the Democrats' massive tax and spending bill, so seriousness shouldn't have surprised anyone who has been watching.

Two elected officials – from different parts of America – emerged this weekend as the kind of patriots which are in too short supply these days… but both offered a ray of hope for our future. Seven years ago California’s so-called "progressives" passed Proposition 47, a sentencing “reform” measure that among other things essentially decriminalized retail theft by making stealing anything valued at less than $950 a mere misdemeanor. According to Politico the Democrat Governors Association “has no plans to give significant financial help to Florida Democrats” in their effort to take out Gov. Ron DeSantis in next year's race for governor. While the DGA has “bristled” at those reports – and insists they are putting up a fight – one number certainly isn't helping boost confidence: Registered Republicans vs. Registered Democrats. 

New polling shows Americans still hate Socialism, but there's a new twist – more & more Democrat politicians embrace "Socialism." And, while Americans hate Socialism, there's something Americans actually hate even more than Socialism: the U.S. Federal Government. Yes, the only thing hated worse than Socialism is a Federal Government run by Mr. Biden and his lousy Democrats.

Just as criminals tend to avoid places with effective security and bullies prey on people they perceive as unable or unwilling to fight back, so, too, do leaders of "evil empires" feel emboldened when they conclude they'll not be effectively opposed by the "strongest nation in the world." That would be a nation under President Biden – which is increasingly seen by our adversaries as feeble.

Long after it was clear that COVID was dangerous nearly exclusively for older people and the obese, Fauci lied, just as he once lied about AIDS being a risk for heterosexuals long after it became clear that it was almost entirely a problem for gay men and intravenous drug users.
