More than the combined costs of both World War I and World War II, the tally for how much the federal government has spent combating COVID-19 is now estimated to be $5 trillion. And the left is celebrating that politicians in Washington, D.C. saved us. Really? From what? Two years later, it is time for an honest assessment.

Eight months ago I warned it was time to suspend the COVID-19 Vaccine Program, pending an investigation of mounting deaths, grievous injuries and permanent disabilities. I titled my commentary, "What if This Experimental COVID Shot Is Killing People? Don't Americans Have a Right To Know?" Here's a quick look at the FACTS that have come out in just the past week.

In 2021 – President Biden's first year in office – federal spending came in at just under $7 trillion ($6.81 trillion to be exact.) So, in less than four decades, the U.S. Federal Budget has grown sevenfold. Think of it this way; There are 12 zeroes in a trillion, and a trillion dollars is a million dollars times a million.

On one side are those who wear masks almost everywhere, and who demand that others do so as well – including young children on outdoor playgrounds, and 2-year-olds on airplanes. On the other side are those who only wear them where punished for not doing so (most obviously, airplanes). And human interaction has suffered – people are less kind when they're anonymous.

If you watched Joe Biden’s press conference last week – his first in one day shy of the number of years he’s been alive (78 days) – you were likely not thrilled. As I’ve said many times before, there really isn’t an aspect of his life that Joe hasn’t lied about. He’s just always been on the side of the media, so they give him a pass. It seems no one with the name Biden is particularly bright.

On Wednesday, a Politico/Morning Consult survey came out that showed that 37% of Americans awarded Biden a grade of "F" for his first year, and another 12% giving him a "D." School kids with grades like that risk being held back a year – or expelled.

How do you explain why an ultra-experienced politician makes a major speech on the behalf of a legislative goal that's both doomed to fail – and unpopular with voters? Especially when his speech is boycotted by the bill's chief backers and consists of one big lie after another? ​​​​​​​This makes the big lies in Biden's Atlanta speech on Tuesday all the more inexcusable.

In early 2021 an upbeat Joe Biden boasted he would end the COVID virus by the summer of 2021 - by following "the science," no less. But then a series of renewed COVID-19 outbreaks hit, helping further destroy Biden's already waning popularity. In reaction, the Left is now calling for realism - and is even newly curious about the origins of the virus and the need to "get back to normal."

Let me be clear: There's no health or safety excuse whatsoever for Teachers & Students not to be in the classroom – as the first wave of COVID-19 should have taught us. Yet in Chicago an incredible 91% of union teachers voted to go on strike. Even Chicago's liberal Democrat Mayor Lori Lightfoot has attacked the Teachers Unions for "holding kids hostage." She is right.

Looking back in a few years, it's entirely possible we will see December 2021 was the high-water mark of the "Democrat's Great Progressive Coup." In fact, 2022 will be key to securing victory. We can see their plan, and it’s weak. Saturate MSNBCNN with a peril to the Republic posed by us people who dissent from the regime. But now the normal folks are getting the message.

Was Jan. 6th really comparable to Pearl Harbor and 9/11 – during which 3,000 Americans went to their deaths in each event and major wars followed – as Vice President Kamala Harris said yesterday? If Joe Biden and the Democrats have no other issue to run on this November, ​​​​​​​what does that tell us about them?

Who looted, burned & attacked courthouses and police precincts, caused over 30 deaths, injured 2,000 policemen, and destroyed at least $2 billion in property? And now Democrats have become despondent over President Biden's sinking poll numbers? His economic, energy, foreign policy, border and COVID-19 policies have all lost support.

Every Republican is a threat to the Democrats right now. They're guilty of the unforgivable sins of loving this country and being conservative. Those are one of the few things that leftists will actually condemn in public these days – because compared to ANY Democrat, but especially the senile figurehead in the White House, they’d easily crush any of them. 

The last two years have seen an unprecedented escalation in a decades-long war on the American past. But there are lots of logical flaws in attacking prior generations in U.S. history.
