"Given how poorly the Federal Government manages many other agencies, I have no confidence in their ability to oversee elections across the country," said Jetton of the U.S. House passed bill HR 1, which is awaiting U.S. Senate consideration and possible approval. If this bill passes, Jetton's legislation would automatically decouple federal races from all others in Texas.
