As the Biden Border Crisis worsens by the day, Sen. Ted Cruz is demanding that the Biden Administration lift its unprecedented media blackout and allow Americans transparent coverage of the disaster unfolding on Texas' Southern Border. Cruz led some 20 of his Senate colleagues on a Border Tour Friday, where reports from the Donna, Texas facility are heartbreaking.

While the Biden Administration continues to deny press access to the facilities housing 10s of 1,000s of illegal border crossers at the United State's Southern Border, and in response to the immigration crisis surging there, Texas Senators John Cornyn & Ted Cruz will lead a Senate delegation tour to the Texas-Mexico Border this Friday, March 26th.

How are these children coming across the border, and who is helping them get here? Were they abused or harmed on their journeys, and were they or their families assisted or threatened by cartel members or human traffickers? These are just some of the questions Gov. Abbott is asking President Biden about the humanitarian crisis at Texas' Southern Border.​​​​​​​

“Democrats call this the 'For the People Act,' or HR 1, but a more appropriate name would be the 'Corrupt Politicians Act' because it’s designed by politicians & is for the politicians,” said Sen. Ted Cruz in an op-ed for Real Clear Politics outlining the dangerous provisions which, if signed into law, will overhaul State Election Laws and cement Democrat control for decades.

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) ramped up pressure on President Biden to allow free and fair reporting on the humanitarian, national security, and public health crises at the southern border.

The situation along the south Texas Border has “become so dire that Border Patrol has no choice but to release people nearly immediately after apprehension because there's no space to hold people, even to do the necessary Notice to Appear (NTA) paperwork.”

Gov. Abbott launched the state-funded "Operation Lone Star" in early March to help secure the border and combat the smuggling of people and drugs into Texas. With President Biden failing to respond to the crisis, Abbott's now expanding the operation to fight a rapid increase in Human Trafficking & Illegal Border Crossings.

Joe Biden's "Homeland Security" Secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, has conceded: “We're on pace to encounter more individuals on the Southwest Border than we have in the last 20 years” – and the Biden Administration is dumping these illegal migrants onto the streets of governed by State & Local Officials.

"Appraisals are important to the Property Tax equation because rising values force tax payments higher, even when the actual tax rate does not change,” said State Rep. Steve Allison of San Antonio, filing legislation that seeks to protect Texans from property-tax increases driven by ever-escalating appraisal values.

"Given how poorly the Federal Government manages many other agencies, I have no confidence in their ability to oversee elections across the country," said Jetton of the U.S. House passed bill HR 1, which is awaiting U.S. Senate consideration and possible approval. If this bill passes, Jetton's legislation would automatically decouple federal races from all others in Texas.

Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) today launched Operation Lone Star to combat the smuggling of people and drugs into Texas.

“This is a crisis for our local communities who're already struggling from the pandemic, scrounging for COVID-19 tests, food & housing for these migrants. The surge of migrant apprehensions by U.S. Border Patrol has overwhelmed U.S Customs & Border Protection’s processing capacity," said South Texas Democrat Cong. Henry Cuellar.

President Biden’s relaxed immigration policies have given a green light to traffickers and smugglers that our nation's Southern Border is open. His policies will cost us a secure border – and weakening our national security.
