All lawyers are ethically required to avoid even the appearance of impropriety in their professional conduct. So a prosecutor who campaigned on finding a way to convict a man – let alone a former President who's currently running for President – of unknown & yet to be discovered crimes is not a close ethical call. New York County's Alvin Bragg will yammer about no one being above the law, but the indictment of Donald Trump will be deemed buffoonery – at its finest.

Take a quick look back to the 2010 Legislative Session – when a Texas House Committee was considering expanding gambling in Texas. Both Gov. Rick Perry and his Democrat opponent Bill White said they were against it. So why didn't Texas go for it then? After all, gambling & lotteries are nothing more than government selling false hope – and, then there’s always organized crime that shows up wherever there’s gambling.

Joe Biden ran in 2020 on the campaign slogan “Build Back Better.” But with his tax, spending and regulatory policies all hamstringing the economy, a more accurate slogan would be “Reduce Economic Growth.” What's the worst of President Biden’s latest proposed tax increases? It’s hard to say – there are so many strong candidates. Much of Mr. Biden's tax increase burdens are on U.S. workers.

Is the United States economically capable or politically unified or socially stable enough to wage a huge proxy war on the frontiers of a nuclear Russia? Expecting it to change is like expecting the sun to pop up in the west. It can’t. It won’t.

They proudly note, correctly, that Michigan's now the 1st State in more than half a century to turn back the clock and force union chains on workers. Most states have moved in the opposite direction. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer – a stooge of the unions – will sign the bill into law.

The idea is that certain woke-liberal people, or their family members, will someday end up in a position to help the family and/or their friends. It’s a small price to pay, but... the people who literally write the rules are the same ones who benefit the most from them. So, do you really expect them to call it out for what it is? Of course not. ​​​​​Never lose sight of what it truly is: perfectly legal corruption. 

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' written statement to Tucker Carlson heard around the world earlier this week on the Russia-Ukraine war has caused nothing short of a full-scale meltdown from the arrogant, consistently wrong-thinking, military-industrial complex-addled band of bipartisan dunderheads who collectively comprise the American ruling class's foreign policy "blob."

Ron DeSantis came out against our current blank check n’ hack cliches Ukraine policy, stating the indisputable truth that Ukraine's not a vital U.S. interest worthy of risking World War III with Russia. The next day he was proven right when a Russian SU-27 knocked a U.S. Reaper Drone into the Black Sea. ​​​​​​​Of course all the right GOP establishment people got really mad at DeSantis for saying something we all need to be against.

Three days before Silicon Valley Bank collapsed, Joe Biden's Treasury Sect. Janet Yellen cautioned that "climate change" puts the banking industry at risk. From la-la land, she speculated future storms & tornadoes could diminish the value of a banks' assets. With 98% of all 2020 political contributions from people working at internet companies going to Democrats, it's no surprise they're offering bailouts – whether they use that word or not.

The primary concern of the people who ran the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) -- the bank that just went bust -- was not banking. Nor was it making money for the bank's shareholders or safeguarding the funds of its depositors. Their primary concern was social activism -- LGBTQIA+, DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and climate change.

The Republican race is not the only game in town. There is a lot of action in 2024 besides Trump, DeSantis, and the Asterisks. The Dems have their own nomination race, and there are a bunch of Senate showdowns.

What's common to the pandemic of smash-&-grab, carjacking, fighting on airliners while in flight, and deadly Saturday night shoot-outs, is that there's an apparent assurance for law-breakers that there'll be no consequences for their actions. And why wouldn't thugs and law-breakers believe this – after 120 days of rioting, looting, arson & assault in the summer of 2020's "mostly peaceful protests" there were few Antifa indictments, fewer convictions, and almost no imprisonments?

About the "much criticized" Rasmussen Poll that's been in the news as the woke-leftist media killed the Dilbert Cartoon – it asked American Adults: "Do you agree or disagree with this statement: 'It is OK to be white.'" In response, 53% of Black American adults strongly or somewhat agreed, 26% strongly or somewhat disagreed, and 21% said they were "not sure." The white male creator of the popular "Dilbert" comic strip thought that was concerning.

President Biden announced he'd not veto a resolution passed by the Republican-controlled House to overturn a new District of Columbia "crime reform" law, assuming the resolution passes the Senate. As a result – in a major woke Democrat's defeat – a shell-shocked chair of the left-wing D.C. City Council now says he's pulling the bill that reduces sentencing on many felonies, including carjackings and burglaries.

Make no mistake: This threat of violence is very real. Organized groups targeting Supreme Court Justices with protest outside their homes to pressure them into changing their rulings is spiraling out of control – despite the fact that such harassment violates a Federal Law. President Biden's unwillingness to punish those who violate the law in a targeted way is encouraging those on the left who support political violence.

For the umpteenth time: The United States is not the problem – China is. The U.S. has reduced our pollution emissions more than any other nation on the face of the earth, the "problem" continues, and Democrats can do nothing but blame the U.S. – why is that? China's pollution levels are three times higher than ours, and soon India will pass the U.S. in carbon emissions. Biden & The Left are knee-capping our Energy Industry!

After Nike and Cracker Barrel shut down their operations in Portland, Oregon last year and decided to call it quits due to the growing and out of control crime levels there, Walmart Stores has become the latest to shut its stores in the city. "Theft is an issue. It’s higher than what it's historically been,” Walmart CEO Doug McMillon told CNBC. “If that’s not corrected over time, prices will be higher and stores will close."
