While Americans are rightfully and understandably stressed about the rapidly increasing price of gasoline at the pump, those escalating prices are not due the reasons Joe Biden is telling us. The most significant cause is his policies related to the Oil & Gas Industry. These began on his first day in office, when he unilaterally canceled the permits for the partially constructed Keystone XL Pipeline.
Even Democrats from all across the nation are now complaining about Joe Biden's failure to control our border – with some 2 million poor, unvaccinated & untested illegal immigrants crossing the Southern Border last year. The bigger problem is that some experts estimate the numbers in this 2022 Election Year could climb to 6 million! So, what is a nation if it doesn’t control its own borders?
Since President Joe Biden took office on January 20th, 2021, newly released U.S. Customs & Border Patrol data now shows that Border Patrol Agents arrested a bone-chilling 42 individuals on our own nation's Terrorist Watchlist as they tried to enter the country illegally via a porous Southern Border in 2021.
Its what quiet panic looks like. Among a crucial group that Joe Biden won by 13% in 2020 – the Independent Voter – his "disapproval rating" is now 30% or more higher than his "approval" rating. And despite such mounting evidence, there's still internal debate within Democrat Party ranks as to whether its the party’s messaging, or its policies, that are pushing voters of all stripes away.
There's an interesting list of things that Democrats believe in these days – and if you’re a Democrat, believing in something means its like a religious cult. Its all that matters. What do you have to believe in to be a Modern Democrat, and is there a place hidden far from view where some anointed one makes up all the nonsense and sends it down from high upon the mountaintop?
“We’re here, we learned a lot, we’re angry. We came here upset with this administration, and we’re leaving even more upset,” said Cong. James Comer, who along with Texas Cong. Pete Sessions and over a half-dozen other members visited the U.S. Customs & Border Patrol's Yuma Sector, where immigrants stream across the U.S Border through a little-known pathway where Arizona, Mexico & California meet.
"To be a Law Enforcement Officer is to answer a higher calling, which is why I'm proud to recognize the dedication & bravery of our DPS troopers across the state and throughout history," said Gov. Abbott, dedicating the memorial to honor DPS Officers & Texas Rangers who have given their lives protecting their fellow Texans. The monument includes a 77-foot circle of granite and an 11-foot-tall bronze DPS Trooper.
“Crime is going up in far-left cities because of soft-on-crime policies. Biden’s response is to clamp down on guns put together in a kit. Federal law already prohibits felons from owning or possessing any gun, including so called ‘ghost guns,’” said Sen. James Lankford of Oklahoma prior to introducing a Congressional Review Act Joint Resolution of Disapproval to stop Mr. Biden’s proposed new rule.
Attorney General Ken Paxton joined a multi-state effort in an emergency application to the U.S. Supreme Court in a racial discrimination case against Fairfax County Virginia's School Board – the state’s largest school district – after the board issued new admissions criteria that was intended to reduce the number of Asian-American students while moving toward a progressive vision of racial balance.
Throughout the ages, people have turned to religion to seek answers to questions about the meaning and purpose of life. And now more than ever—with governmental authority gone awry with mass purveyance of deception, with culture adrift and postmodernism now giving way to transhumanism—Americans are increasingly turning to religion to find answers.
There are currently 10 states that voted one way for president in 2020, but have a governor from the other party in office. That means that this year’s most vulnerable incumbent governors are Democrats. So while Democrats may like to brag that they haven’t lost an incumbent governor's race since 2014, that streak is bound to be snapped this year – and Republicans are playing offense.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Mexican State Gov. Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda signed a "Memorandum of Understanding" between their two States to both enhance border security measures that prevent illegal immigration from surging into Texas, and that improve the flow of traffic across Laredo's Colombia International Bridge – and the agreement goes into effect immediately.
"Caroline Harris' background as a Capitol staffer, and her in-depth experience with the legislative process will serve the residents of HD 52 well as they work to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future,” said Mary Tipps, Executive Director of the Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC.
Imagine what the pitch meeting for CNN+ was like: “Hey, I know we’re the lowest rated cable news channel, but maybe people will pay for what they aren’t interested in for free.” Something that dumb & crazy had to have been said. They would’ve been better off setting the network's money on fire.
Texas' Health & Human Services Commission has received approval from the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture for a 4th round of federal Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) food benefits for Texas families with children who temporarily lost access to free or reduced-price school meals due to COVID-19. The program will benefit some 2.1 million Texas children during the 2021-22 school year.
Ahead of the latest inflation report showing that prices surged by 8.5 percent, Republican Leader on the Ways and Means Committee Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) examined the key ways Democrats worsened inflation, and how higher prices land on American families and small businesses on CNBC’s Squawk Box.
“It’s vital to have an action plan for emergencies. The Commission today strengthened that plan,” said Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Wayne Christian of their latest action. "This will give market participants certainty and encourage them to obtain firm contracts, increasing the reliability of the natural gas system in Texas," and ensuring Texans have energy and natural gas during future emergencies.
Staying true to his word, Texas' Governor Greg Abbott has following through on his plan to send illegal immigrants apprehended in his state to the Nation's Capitol – where an influx of unlawful border crossers can't be as easily ignored by President Biden and the Democrats in Congress. After their wristbands were scanned and cut off their arms, they were free to walk off into the D.C. morning.
