"As chief executives of our states, we request a meeting with you at The White House to bring an end to the national security crisis created by eight months of unenforced borders," read the letter to President Biden from the Governors of 26 states, “respectfully requesting a meeting as soon as your schedule allows within 15 days.” The crisis led a Democrat Border Mayor to ask Mr. Biden earlier this year, "Whose side are you on?"

“If the Biden Administration thinks they can force states to comply with their political agenda, my office will fight their radical attempt at social change," said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, filing a lawsuit to stop the Biden Administration from requiring employers to use the gender identities espoused by their employees for bathroom, locker room, showers, dress codes & personal pronouns.

Greg Abbott earlier today, announcing the availability of $100 million in funding through the Operation Lone Star (OLS) Grant Program to enhance Inter-Agency Border Security Operations, including interdicting criminal activity and detaining non-citizens arrested for state crimes related to the border crisis.

“Last Thursday I was briefed by Border Patrol in Del Rio on the horrific, man-made crisis taking place at this city's International Bridge. I saw the strain on resources and the lack of COVID-19 testing because of President Biden and Vice President Harris’ decision to not enforce our laws at the Southern Border," said Sen. Cruz, responding to Homeland Security Sect. Mayorkas' visit to Del Rio, as 1,000s of illegal immigrants flooded the south Texas city of 36,000.

This funding to assist Customs & Border Protection with the influx of migrants at Texas' southern border comes as the Del Rio Border Sector has been inundated with approximately 15,000 Haitian migrants in just the past week – including 8,000 family units and 4,000 single adults, with an estimated 2,000 more expected within days.

We still don't know even half of what's in the two massive spending bills circulating through Congress – because as Rep. Richard Neal, the head of the House Committee writing the bills admits, we want to "hold off on the (details of the bill) until we're at the altar." By this he means the same thing Nancy Pelosi said before ObamaCare's vote some 10 years ago: We'll read the bill after we pass it.

"I have determined that the disaster caused from individuals unlawfully crossing the Texas-Mexico Border is of such severity that Supplementary Federal Assistance is necessary to lessen the threat of disaster, save lives, and protect property, public health and safety," said Gov. Abbott, requesting an Emergency Declaration from President Biden as the crisis at the border escalated, including the dire situation in Val Verde County.

After Houston Police Officer William “Bill” Jeffrey, a 30-year veteran of the Houston Police Department, was shot and killed, and Sgt. Michael Vance was shot and wounded, “This horrific tragedy's an important reminder that Law Enforcement Officers risk their lives every day to keep Texas safe," said Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick.

Railroad Commission of Texas commissioners approved publishing for public comment proposed rules for critical designation of natural gas infrastructure during energy emergencies.
