George W. Bush reaffirmed his status as garbage last week, for those few cons still in doubt.
According to a leaked audio obtained by Fox News through a Border Patrol source, President Biden's Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently claimed the Biden Administration is "going to lose" the border crisis if the "unsustainable" numbers of migrants flooding across the border continue. The 208,887 illegal immigrants encountered in August are the second consecutive month with over 200,000 encounters – figures not seen in 21 years.
Not surprisingly, the Biden Administration is yet again attempting contrive some non-existent authority out of an extravagant & distorted construction of Federal Statute. Has Congress ever given the presidency or a Federal Agency the precise, unambiguous authority to take such action? In a word, no. But while the president and his administration know they're in the wrong – we are sure to see more instances of overreach.
A Sept. 1st headline read: “15 Million COVID Vaccines Thrown Away in U.S. Since March.” So while President Biden's constantly boasted of his work to distribute COVID-19 Vaccines around the country, in six months we've thrown 15 million doses in the trash. A more recent headline from Axios read: “U.S. Govt's Lost Contact with 1,000s of Migrant Children Released from Custody” – and now he wants voters to trust him with another $3.5 trillion in taxpayer dollars to "Remake America"?
From his latest "national mandate" in the pandemic, to abortions to elections to rents, President Joe Biden is seeking to (literally) revolutionize our nation's form of government, taking over huge swaths of State Law with the Federal Government. What's most striking about Biden's moves is that he and his aides – including his "Legal Counselors" – have indicated they know they're operating outside of Constitutional Limits.
"The Texas Legislature now has the opportunity to redraw Legislative & Congressional Districts with the new census numbers. And in addition to redistricting, there are still critical issues remaining to build a stronger and brighter future for all Texans," said Gov. Abbott, announcing he will convene a 3rd Special Legislative Session at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 20th, 2021.
"Joe Biden is determined to destroy Main Street America and strip every American of their individual liberties. Forcing the vaccine on the American people is both illegal, and demonstrates an egregious example of executive overreach – In a few short weeks Joe Biden has awoken the Taliban, and choked out American Freedom," said Central Texas Congressman Roger Williams.
Governor Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton sent a joint letter to the Texas Association of Counties, the Texas Municipal League, and the largest cities across the state to remind them that House Bill 1925, which bans camping in public places, must now be enforced on a statewide basis – and that failure to do so could potentially result in litigation and the loss of State Grant Funds.
Most normal Americans don't have time for outrage these days – they're struggling to get by thanks to The Democrat-Progressives' involvement in their lives. Since 52% of atheists have donated to political candidates, compared to just 26% of white evangelicals, the divide between "Progressives" & "Conservative Evangelicals" shows who's been more actively involved in protests and politics.
"Texans don't need Washington elites telling them how to safeguard and protect Voting Rights. This should be a loud and clear message to Washington power-hungry politicians: States are the proper place to establish Election Laws, and efforts by the Federal Government to take over our elections should never succeed," said Sen. Ted Cruz, following Gov. Abbott's signing of SB 1 into law.
“I appreciate Gov. Abbott's adding this issue to the Special Session agenda so the state could take action before the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issues a license. Thankfully HB 7 received enough votes in the House & Senate to go into effect immediately, protecting Texas from becoming the storage site for the entire country’s high-level radioactive waste,” State Rep. Brooks Landgraf of Odessa.
Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) announced $551,345 in funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development for Rural Business Development in Eagle Pass.
The current California Recall Election is a choice between incumbent Gavin Newsom, who embodies the woke, old-boy privilege of the Bay Area, and an alternative new direction – the well-known and much-respected conservative candidate Larry Elder.
There is, in fact, evidence that Black & Minority Voter Registration Rates increase faster than whites after states implement Voter ID requirements. Yet Democrats (and much of the media) are pushing to make 2020's extraordinary, pandemic-driven measures to relax voting rules permanent – warning anew of "racist voter suppression” otherwise. But Americas the outlier – Voter IDs Are the Rule in Europe & Elsewhere.
“Millions of Texans have looked to Emergency SNAP benefits to keep food at home throughout the pandemic, and I'm happy to continue this critical resource to those who need it," said Gov. Greg Abbott, providing $286 million in emergency Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) food benefits for September.
“At the end of the 87th Regular Session, Texas House Democrats walked out and broke quorum, killing many of my Senate priorities and priorities that reflect the view of a majority of Texans statewide, including the Election Integrity Bill and Bail Reform," said Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick as the Senate completed one of the greatest weeks for Republican legislation in Texas.
"There's a dire crisis at the border. The epicenter of this crisis is McAllen, Texas, a small city of about 145,000. The Biden Administration is releasing 1,800 illegal migrants per day at the McAllen bus station," said Sen. Ted Cruz, calling on Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin to hold a hearing and invite the Mayor of McAllen, Texas, Javier Villalobos.
Attorney General Ken Paxton announced that 16 states have joined a coalition in support of Texas and Louisiana’s lawsuit against the Biden Administration’s refusal to deport certain dangerous criminal aliens.
