Sen. Cruz Votes Against Funding Bill That Fails to Secure the Texas-Mexico Border

“If new legislation absolutely must happen, there is a straightforward and viable option: H.R. 2. This bill, which I’ve led in the Senate, is the only serious border legislation that has been considered this Congress, and it contains real solutions for the border crisis such as building the wall, tightening asylum standards, reinstating the Remain-in-Mexico policy, increasing the number of Border Patrol agents, and more. . ."

PAXTON: Court Denies Biden’s Effort to Dismiss Texas Lawsuit Against New 'Asylum Rule'

The U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security – at the direction of Sect. Mayorkas & President Biden – is seeking to establish an "Asylum Rule Transfer" by moving authority given by Congress to U.S. Immigration Judges to the more lenient processing position known as an "Asylum Officer." Because this violates the statutory system Congress established, as well as the Appointments Clause of the Constitution, Texas sued to halt the move. The Federal Government then sought to have case dismissed, but a U.S. District Court has rejected that White House request.

McCAUGHEY: Providing Room & Board to the Same People Who Rob & Threaten Us Makes No Sense

The Statue of Liberty says, "Give me your tired, your poor." It doesn't say your lawbreakers, brutes & gang leaders. Criminals posing as asylum seekers are turning America's Cities into war zones. Venezuela's Tren de Aragua Gang – feared for how it tortures its victims – has set up shop in New York City, police say. "This is organized crime. It's just like the Mafia," says Paul DiGiacomo, president of the NYC Detectives' Endowment Association. Illegals, and Migrant Crime, is turning our cities into War Zones.

NO, Yesterday's Special Election in New York Was Not a 'Bellwether' as the Media Suggests

Many of you may have noticed the media's obsession in suggesting that yesterday's Special Election for New York's 3rd Congressional District would serve as a "bellwether" for the upcoming Presidential Election. But looking at the District's recent elections, calling it a "bellwether" is a very hard sell from where I sit.  The Democrat winner last night had previously represented the district for three terms, and was a pseudo-incumbent. In fact, he underperformed compared to his past elections.

Texas Once Again Leads the Nation in Truck Bottlenecks

“Texans are no strangers to traffic congestion,” said Texas Trucking Association President John Esparza, adding, "unfortunately, all that congestion means our state’s economy takes a hit – as does our roadway safety and our environment." He made the comments as the American Transportation Research Institute released its 13th Annual List highlighting the most congested bottlenecks for trucks in America – and 13 Texas locations made the "Top 100."

ALEXANDER: Biden’s ‘[Insert Policy Failure Here] Crisis’

Fact is, Democrats only care about poor illegal immigrants to the extent that they'll provide fresh blood for future Democrat Union Bosses – and millions of additional voters for the anti-American Democrat Leftists who've opened our nation's border to "Remake America." And, they'll perpetuate that voter base by claiming so-called “birthright citizenship” for their children while they're at it. So let me tell you what would not be happening if Donald Trump were still president.

Media, Democrats Want to Know: Why Is Joe Biden So Unpopular?

Yes it's “The Economy Stupid,” as the iconic sign hanging inside Bill Clinton’s campaign headquarters famously said in 1992. But in 2024, voters are also concerned about things like a raging Border Crisis, an escalating war in the Middle East, and Joe Biden's ability to handle inflation. This is where Biden’s age & "mental faculties" come into play – and with an increasing frequency, each soundbite is being looked at under a microscope. He's providing voters with more reason be concerned.

On Behalf of Texas Ag, Sen. Cruz Secures Extension of Drought Warning Sensors

The federal National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) had planned to retire soil moisture sensors in Texas relied upon by the state’s agricultural community to spot potential droughts. However, NOAA has delayed any action on the sensors after an inquiry from Sen. Cruz, who sent an oversight letter to NOAA about its initial decision and upcoming plans.

Jeff Bezos Will Save $600 Million by Moving From Seattle to Florida

Jeff Bezos one of the 10 richest people on the planet — announced that he was moving his residence from Washington to Florida, we strongly suspected that taxes were a major factor in that decision. Florida has no capital gains tax and Washington recently enacted its first-ever capital gains tax at 7%. We calculated that Bezos would save hundreds of millions of dollars, but he denied taxes were a consideration.

EMORD: Incursions Into U.S. Air Space by Foreign Drones

Publicity about Joe Biden’s failure to respond to the Chinese balloon that drifted its way over U.S. Military Installations gave rise to public outrage.  But the Biden White House’s ambivalence to the China balloon is being replicated daily – as is Biden's refusal to act against a far more extensive threat coming from 1,000s of alien drones flying in U.S. air space.  The cartels are using drones for multiple purposes: including to smuggle fentanyl, heroin, cocaine and other drugs into the U.S.

‘Beyond Devastating’: Assessment of Biden’s Mental Fitness Triggers Democrat Panic

The report concludes that President Biden "willingly" broke the law by removing Classified & Top Secret Documents, but says because “Biden would likely present himself to a jury – as he did during our interviews – as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” prosecutors would not be able to "establish Mr. Biden's guilt beyond a reasonable doubt." But its the Special Counsel’s assessment of Biden’s diminishing Mental Faculties that's triggered Democrat's Code-Red panic nationwide.

Weber: Bipartisan Border Deal and Foreign Aid Package Was A Terrible Deal

The so-called 'shutdown' authority in the bill is anything but, riddled with loopholes that grant far too much discretionary authority to Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas – who has proven he will exploit every measure possible, in defiance of the law, to keep the border open. The bill also fails to stop the President's abuse of parole authority adequately. It provides taxpayer funds to fly and house illegal immigrants in hotels through FEMA Shelter and Services Program.

Sen. Cruz Introduces Bill to Prevent DHS from Halting Lawful U.S. Commerce, to Instead Process Illegal Aliens

The Biden White House closed four Border Ports of Entry in December, including 2 key railroad bridges in El Paso & Eagle Pass, Texas. The closures gave the appearance that Customs & Border Protection (CBP) was assisting Border Patrol to apprehend illegal immigrants – however, the CBP’s latest monthly update admits that the agents were used to “quickly process individuals.” Shutting down lawful commerce to welcome illegal aliens is unacceptable – and must be prevented.

Senile Is As Senile Does — and Joe Biden Is Senile

America is still slack-jawed in amazement at last week's blithering antics of President Cornholio. The guy would have to work his way up to being senile, and the fact that he was always stupid and arrogant and malicious just makes his present condition a million times worse. That the guy is manifestly unfit to be president is obvious; what is also obvious is that this guy isn't going anywhere. It's Trump versus Biden all the way to November.

Court Denies Biden’s Effort to Dismiss Texas' Lawsuit Against Admin's Unconstitutional 'Asylum Rule'

“The Biden White House must not be permitted to ignore Congress and violate the Constitution. We take every opportunity to hold Mr. Biden accountable for his unlawful overreach,” said Texas Att. Gen. Ken Paxton, after a court ruled in Texas' favor that Mr. Biden's proposed "Asylum Rule" violates both the statutory system Congress established, and the Constitution – a significant development that could provide future precedent for other courts to find Texas has standing to challenge Biden’s unlawful immigration policies.
