HANSON: Why is the Great Imbalance of China's Treatment Toward the U.S. Being Allowed to Continue?

Imagine if the United States treated China the same way it treats us. How would Beijing respond if U.S. biotech company warehouses were discovered in rural America with unsecured vials of deadly Viruses & Pathogens? Would China be angered if an American company had left abandoned COVID, Malaria or HIV Viruses in its facilities? One way to get along with China is to deal with it precisely the way it deals with us. Anything less will lead to even more Chinese contempt.

L.A. Times has Begun Democrats’ 'Dump-Kamala' Effort: It’s Starting to Get Serious

As 2024 approaches, and victory seems certain over the man they fear and hate the most, Democrats face what looks to be an insoluble dilemma. The Los Angeles Times on Monday became the first major cog in the left’s Propaganda Machine to come out for dumping Kamala Harris and replacing her with a more viable candidate. The people in charge know that Old Joe is only going to get more embarrassing – and that Kamala Harris is even worse.

Abbott Touts Nuclear Energy to Cement Texas as Top Destination for New Technological Development

“For a state that continues to grow massively, we're at the height of our production during the day and we generate more power than California and New York combined – but we need more dispatchable power generation," said Governor Greg Abbott earlier today, highlighting the important role of nuclear technology and energy in Texas’ thriving economy during an energy summit held at The University of Texas (UT) at Austin.

CRUZ: Reports Show Biden Sought Exemption for Palestinian Aid to Help Terrorism

“Today's report again confirms that Joe Biden and Biden White House officials are pathologically obsessed with undermining Israel. They made a day one decision to pour hundreds of millions of American taxpayer dollars into areas controlled by Palestinian terrorists, despite knowing that such actions would benefit terrorist groups that have the blood of Americans and Israelis on their hands," said Sen. Ted Cruz after news reports revealed the State Department secretly sought exemptions from U.S. anti-terrorism laws to restart aid to Palestinian-controlled territories.

CONG. PFLUGER: Let's Allow Ranchers to Protect their Livestock from Caracara Birds of Prey

In the past two decades, destructive Crested Caracaras birds of prey – tropical black & white falcons that behave like vultures – have taken up residence throughout Texas. Despite being a predatory invasive species, the Caracara is currently a "protected species", which prohibits the taking of – including killing, capturing, selling, trading & transport – the migratory birds without prior authorization by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service.

Commissioner Christian Asks Gov. Abbott, Land Commissioner Buckingham to Stop Biden's Offshore Wind Farms in Texas Gulf

“From funding his ‘green’ energy fantasies with the passage of the largest climate bill in history, to an unrelenting barrage of bureaucratic rules from his agencies, Joe Biden's next ploy of taxpayer subsidized boondoggles will have far-reaching implications – and our nation’s middle class is worse off for it,” said Texas Railroad Commissioner Wayne Christian, voicing his opposition to the installation of offshore wind farms in the Gulf of Mexico.

SCHLICHTER: Of Course Trump Should Opt-Out of Wednesday's Debate

I really wish Donald Trump would participate in the Republican debate on Wednesday, August 23rd, but the objective observer in me has to say the opposite. Trump joining his competitors on that stage is bad strategy. He should do what is best for his campaign, and in purely strategic terms, Trump debating right now is nuts. He should sit this one out – and here's why.

Cruz, Capito, 37 Senators Call on EPA to Withdraw New Over-Reaching Power Plant Regs

"In direct conflict with West Virginia vs. EPA, this proposal requires shifting from fossil-fuel power to other types of energy and will force the closure of Coal & Gas-Fired Power Plants. While falsely claiming this does not run afoul of the Supreme Court’s decision, it's undeniable the proposal requires a shift that the Court found Congress never granted EPA authority to require,” said Sen. Ted Cruz and 37 other Senators of the EPA's latest proposed regulations.

“The EPA continues to undermine the needs of Americans,” said Texas Railroad Commission Chairman Christi Craddick. “The latest proposed rule is unrealistic, and potentially dangerous," Craddick said, as the Texas Railroad Commission and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality sent joint comments criticizing and opposing the Biden EPA’s proposed rule to add onerous regulations to electricity generating plants across the nation..

MOORE: After So Many Battery Fires & Deaths, Is It Time to Ban Electric Vehicles?

The New York Fire Department recently reported that there have been 108 lithium-ion battery fires there so far this year, which have injured 66 people and killed 13. According to FDNY Commissioner Laura Kavanagh, "There's not a small amount of fire, the vehicle literally explodes." So the same scaremongers on the left who want bans on gas stoves & plastic straws have a surprisingly high pain threshold when it comes to people dying from "green" electric battery fires?

GRAMM & ARRINGTON: Instead of Harassing Taxpayers, Biden Should Track Down Tax Cheats Who Stole Their Money

Criminals stole at least $1 trillion from taxpayers during the COVID-19 Pandemic, yet to date President Biden's offered only lip service and modest funding to try to reclaim those funds or punish wrongdoers. Meanwhile, the IRS is hiring an army of agents to shake down middle-class Americans Mr. Biden calls tax avoiders. Despite his claims, the new IRS agents won't be targeting "the rich" – nearly half the audits will hit Americans making $75,000 or less.

MOORE: Here's Why Inflation Seems So Much Higher Than Joe Biden Claims

New inflation numbers for July were just released, and they show a 3.2% inflation rate since last year – and a 15% increase in prices since Joe Biden took office. But almost no one in Middle Class America believes these numbers. Why? Because the biggest price increases have hit the products & areas of life that matter most to us – Gas at the pump's up 36% , Rent's up 32%, Eggs, Cereal, Coffee & Used Cars are up about 20%, and Electricity and Utilities are up 22%.

Cong. Rogers Meets with Local Businesses & Community Members

Texas placed buoys in the Rio Grande River to encourage migrants to cross the border at points of entry rather than crossing the river illegally. The U.S. Dept. of Justice responded with a lawsuit, alleging that those buoys were un-permitted obstructions to navigable waters in violation of the Rivers & Harbors Act. I signed an amicus brief highlighting that Biden’s DOJ does not have the standing to sue Texas on this matter.
