Over two million passengers fly each day in the United States. And because every day that passes without President Biden having named someone to lead the FAA puts the flying public at risk, Mr. Cruz is calling on him to immediately name a full time FAA Administrator Nominee to help keep passengers safe. HENDERSON: The U.S. Tax Rate on Capital is Rising

One of the best features of the 2017 Tax Cuts & Jobs Act was the introduction of “expensing” for capital investments. Translation: Corporations that made investments could deduct (i.e., expense) those costs from taxable income in the year they made the expenditures. The only condition for expensing was that the asset had to have a “life” of 20 years or less, and had to be purchased after September 27, 2017 and before January 1, 2023.

McCAUGHEY: Obeying the Constitution Is Not Optional, Yet Dems Are Trashing It

Is this even America? The law being challenged is exactly what you'd find in George Orwell's "1984" – a novel depicting socialist despotism. The government dictates the price for your product, but calls it a "negotiation." If you refuse, your business is taxed to death overnight and you are gagged from disclosing what is happening, and forced to declare the price "fair."

ARRINGTON: Debt Deal is 'Meaningful Step in Right Direction'

The last time the United States had this magnitude of indebtedness was after World War II. It took decades for Congress to reduce our debt to a responsible level, but as a result of their steadfast efforts, the country emerged as the only global superpower. The strategy was simple — bring down spending and grow the economy. Today’s leaders must relentlessly run the same plays.

While Democrats Abuse Trump, Why are Republicans Protecting Biden?

With mounting evidence now having been revealed to Members of Congress, a growing number of legislators say there's enough reason to initiate impeachment hearings against President Joe Biden. And Cong. Marjorie Taylor Greene says she's “dumbfounded” that more Republicans aren't joining her in supporting Biden’s impeachment. In fact, a Special Counsel even been named to investigate.

Do Social Media Apps Pose a Threat, or Does Government Overreach?

While it's true that the Texas Legislature put forth a TikTok ban on state-owned devises, they refused to ban the controversial social media app outright. Scores of small businesses in Texas rely on TikTok for their marketing, including Tevin Hamilton, the owner of Hamilton’s Woodworks. Tevin is an African-American Veteran who says, “TikTok has been a blessing to market and grow my business.”

McCAUL: Foreign Affairs Committee Views Afghanistan Withdrawal Dissent Cable

For months, I've pushed the State Department and Secretary Anthony Blinken to allow Congress to view the Afghanistan dissent cable – a document in which 23 Kabul Embassy Employees warned against the Biden White House's withdrawal plan – or lack thereof. I recently issued a subpoena for the document, and threatened to hold Mr. Blinken in contempt of Congress if he did not comply.

The Sham Indictment is the Last Reason to Desert Trump For Another Presidential Candidate

If we complacently allow the fascist left to take down Trump, it will become far easier to take down others, having set a precedent. It’s just a matter of time before they turn their sights on prosecuting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis; if he gets the nomination, they’ll proceed with a criminal fishing expedition against him.
