Fronton Island is a 170-acre piece of land located in the middle of the Rio Grande River in one of the most dangerous sections of the Texas-Mexico Border. It had been used by multiple Cartels to push guns, drugs, bombs and human trafficking through our nation's Southern Border, threatening the safety of those who work and live there – until Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham called in the Texas Dept. of Public Safety & the Texas Military Department to clear the island and address the Biden Border Crisis.
In January, the Biden White House announced a halting of government approvals for Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) exports – despite studies showing that American LNG exports protect global energy security, create American jobs, and reduce emissions. Banning LNG exports will only increase our dependency on China – the biggest climate polluter in the world. But then again, during a recent Press Conference, Mr. Biden referred to Egypt's president as the "president of Mexico."
Three elements recently combined to give Donald Trump his best week in his still very brief life in politics. And his opponents know it. That's why you don’t see them out celebrating like they won a national title, or ended a global war. But if Mr. Trump is the hated, dangerous, and untrustworthy person they've attempted to have us believe, they should be. Instead, they're uniting the people who love America into a bond that is deeply earnest, and more committed to electing him in November than ever.
“Over the past decade, I’ve made many trips to our Southern Border, often bringing my colleagues in the Senate down with me. On a recent trip we had a conversation with a girl who was only 10 years old. She was with a man who claimed to be her father, who had his arm draped forcefully around her, and it was obvious to everyone that the two were not related," said Sen. Ted Cruz.
The Texas Military Department acquired 80 acres of land in Eagle Pass to construct a Forward Operating Base that will house up to 1,800 Texas National Guard Soldiers, with the ability to accommodate an additional 500 for deployment in response to the Biden Border Crisis. The camp will feature a 700-seat dining facility, recreation & laundry facilities, as well as Chaplaincy, Psychological & Medical Health Facilities.
Last week, I proudly stood with my colleagues and constituents to declare "Enough is Enough" as we officially voted to impeach Homeland Security Sect. Mayorkas, the architect of our nation's border destruction. I look forward to serving as an impeachment manager for the upcoming Senate trial, where I will use my experience as a Federal Prosecutor to stand up for our Constitution – and the safety of the American people.

The Democrat Party is a group of insufferable children, spoiled & entitled, throwing a constant series of temper tantrums without interruption. They're the brat in your child’s class that's constantly indulged with reassurances that they’re “special” and important – when what they need is a butt-reddening series of spanks that make it difficult to sit for a week. That won’t happen: Leftists don’t have adults on their side.
First Lady Cecilia Abbott, Honorary Chair of the Governor's Volunteer Awards, today announced the recipients of the 40th Annual Governor’s Volunteer Awards. These awards, presented in conjunction with OneStar Foundation, honor the exemplary service of individuals, groups, and organizations that have made a significant contribution to Texas communities through service and volunteering in the past year.
At least 1-in-5 jobs being created by "Bidenomics," it turns out, are actually Government Jobs – and a new Immigration Studies Report shows that the supposed "millions of jobs" Joe Biden brags about are mostly happening among illegal immigrants. Biden's open borders aren't just for "transforming America" – it’s also at the core of Bidenomics. "While there were still 183,000 fewer U.S.-born Americans working in the 4th Quarter of 2023 compared to 2019, the number of immigrants (legal & illegal) working is up 2.9 million.”
U.S. Rep. Randy Weber (TX-14) voted in favor of H.R. 7176, the Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2024 would remove restrictions on the import and export of natural gas and require the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to deem the import or export of natural gas to be consistent with the public interest.
Today, the Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act passed the U.S. House of Representatives with Congressman Tony Gonzales’ (TX-23) support. The Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act lifts restrictions on natural gas imports and exports while also prohibiting trade with an individual or foreign country under sanction or listed as a state sponsor of terrorism.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) and State Street Global Advisors announced they would withdraw from the Climate Action 100+ (CA100+), with State Street commenting that the “enhanced Climate Action 100+ Phase 2 requirements for signatories are not consistent with our independent approach to proxy voting and portfolio company engagement.” Additionally, BlackRock Inc. simultaneously announced it would scale back its commitment to the CA100+ and transfer its membership to a subsidiary, BlackRock International Ltd.
The Ukrainian and Israeli wars are similar and yet also different conflicts. Ukraine was invaded by a huge Russian state, with a population three-and-a-half times greater, a gross national product 10 times larger, and an area 30 times its size. Hamas, by contrast, is a terrorist clique of about 50,000-70,000 gunmen and terrorist kingpins who run Gaza. It is dwarfed by the Israeli population (20 times larger), economy (27 times greater), and area (60 times larger).
Former Clinton political adviser Paul Begala summed up the way Democrat leaders now feel about Joe Biden’s candidacy after last week: “I sleep like a baby – I wake up every two hours and wet the bed,” joked Begala to CNN. “This is beyond devastating,” said another Democrat operative, speaking anonymously in order to candidly talk about Biden’s visible mental shortcomings. “It confirms every doubt and concern voters have... how can he be president of the United States?”
As Secretary of Energy under Donald Trump, I made our nation’s Energy Security – as well as exploring innovative technologies – a major priority. And despite the well-known attacks on the Oil & Gas Industry the past few years, developments in Texas are once again gaining attention on Wall Street, and show that The Lone Star State will continue to lead the way in energy production. Since the U.S. Oil & Gas Industry possesses a unique set of engineering & technology skills, its leading to some exciting innovation.
“If new legislation absolutely must happen, there is a straightforward and viable option: H.R. 2. This bill, which I’ve led in the Senate, is the only serious border legislation that has been considered this Congress, and it contains real solutions for the border crisis such as building the wall, tightening asylum standards, reinstating the Remain-in-Mexico policy, increasing the number of Border Patrol agents, and more. . ."
The U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security – at the direction of Sect. Mayorkas & President Biden – is seeking to establish an "Asylum Rule Transfer" by moving authority given by Congress to U.S. Immigration Judges to the more lenient processing position known as an "Asylum Officer." Because this violates the statutory system Congress established, as well as the Appointments Clause of the Constitution, Texas sued to halt the move. The Federal Government then sought to have case dismissed, but a U.S. District Court has rejected that White House request.
