Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said State Sales Tax Revenue totaled $3.99 billion in July, 2.7% more than in July 2022. Total sales tax revenue for the three months ending in July 2023 was up 4.5% compared to the same period a year ago. But in light of what’s taken place, turns out it’s about more than just a squabble about whether a professor – fixated on diversity – should re-start a journalism department. It would have allowed these individuals to return to military service and adjust their discharge status from “general” to “honorable” to restore lost GI Bill & VA Benefits.
