"The Biden Administration's open border policies have led to complete chaos at the southern border, and pose a threat to the safety of Texans and all Americans. Texas has stepped up to keep our communities safe and mitigate this crisis ourselves, and our efforts have been made stronger by the support and assistance of governors from across the nation," said Gov. Greg Abbott, standing with nine other state governors in Mission, Texas to discuss the ongoing Border Crisis.

“Many (of the illegal) Haitian migrants camped in a small Texas border town are being released in the United States, two U.S. Officials said, undercutting the Biden Administration’s public statements that the 1,000s in the well-known camp faced expulsion,” reported the Associated Press. “Many have been released with notices to appear at an immigration office within 60 days, which requires less processing time from Border Patrol agents,” said the AP.

"As chief executives of our states, we request a meeting with you at The White House to bring an end to the national security crisis created by eight months of unenforced borders," read the letter to President Biden from the Governors of 26 states, “respectfully requesting a meeting as soon as your schedule allows within 15 days.” The crisis led a Democrat Border Mayor to ask Mr. Biden earlier this year, "Whose side are you on?"

"I have determined that the disaster caused from individuals unlawfully crossing the Texas-Mexico Border is of such severity that Supplementary Federal Assistance is necessary to lessen the threat of disaster, save lives, and protect property, public health and safety," said Gov. Abbott, requesting an Emergency Declaration from President Biden as the crisis at the border escalated, including the dire situation in Val Verde County.

"In the past month, we've witnessed President Biden & his top officials preside over the worst Foreign Policy Catastrophe in a generation. Americans across the nation are horrified, our servicemen and women are angry, disillusioned & frustrated, our allies are dispirited and our enemies across the globe emboldened – which makes the world more dangerous for America today," said Sen. Ted Cruz, who sent some strong messages to the Biden Administration this week.

According to a leaked audio obtained by Fox News through a Border Patrol source, President Biden's Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently claimed the Biden Administration is "going to lose" the border crisis if the "unsustainable" numbers of migrants flooding across the border continue. The 208,887 illegal immigrants encountered in August are the second consecutive month with over 200,000 encounters – figures not seen in 21 years.

Not surprisingly, the Biden Administration is yet again attempting contrive some non-existent authority out of an extravagant & distorted construction of Federal Statute. Has Congress ever given the presidency or a Federal Agency the precise, unambiguous authority to take such action? In a word, no. But while the president and his administration know they're in the wrong – we are sure to see more instances of overreach.

A Sept. 1st headline read: “15 Million COVID Vaccines Thrown Away in U.S. Since March.” So while President Biden's constantly boasted of his work to distribute COVID-19 Vaccines around the country, in six months we've thrown 15 million doses in the trash. A more recent headline from Axios read: “U.S. Govt's Lost Contact with 1,000s of Migrant Children Released from Custody” – and now he wants voters to trust him with another $3.5 trillion in taxpayer dollars to "Remake America"?

From his latest "national mandate" in the pandemic, to abortions to elections to rents, President Joe Biden is seeking to (literally) revolutionize our nation's form of government, taking over huge swaths of State Law with the Federal Government. What's most striking about Biden's moves is that he and his aides – including his "Legal Counselors" – have indicated they know they're operating outside of Constitutional Limits.

The Supreme Court said that the Biden Administration likely violated Federal Law by trying to end President Donald Trump's successful "Remain in Mexico" Policy, which forced people to "wait in Mexico" while their asylum cases worked their way through the Federal Justice System. Under the ruling, the Biden Admin must now make a “good faith effort” to restart the program.

"Due to the Biden Administration's inaction on the border crisis, our partnership with local leaders is more important than ever to mitigate illegal border crossings and prevent the smuggling of drugs, weapons and people into Texas," said Gov. Abbott, noting that Operation Lone Star has seen over 4,300 arrests by the Texas Department of Public Safety — including 700+ pounds of cocaine, 127 pounds of fentanyl, over 8,700 pounds of cannabis, and over 260 firearms to date.

Joe Biden & Kamala Harris have dismantled our Southern Border with a speed and precision that can only be described as intentional & purposeful – and it’s far past time for all freedom-loving Americans to recognize it as such. Senate Democrats finally released their $3.5 trillion Budget Resolution Package on Monday, and as expected, it includes a laundry-list of the party’s non-budget related priorities – including the creation of a pathway to citizenship or residency for “millions of immigrant workers and families.” Its the latest step in clearing the way for President Biden and Congressional Democrat’s far-left policy agenda, and its designed to be passed without Republican support.

In a demonstrably meritless lawsuit, after fleeing to Washington, D.C., 22 Texas House Democrats have sued some of the state’s top Republican leaders in Federal Court in Austin over their efforts to bring them home for a Special Legislative Session. The complaint reads like a press release from the DNC – asking a Federal Court to allow a lawsuit based on their own decisions to flee the state.

County Judge Richard Cortez recently told local reporters there's a nursing shortage and that keeping up with COVID-19 hospitalization of residents has not been easy. In addition, the rise in asylum seekers testing positive for COVID-19 is also tipping the scale. “We’re seeing that they’re coming in with a high infection for COVID, and there’s no room for them anymore,” said the Hidalgo County Judge.
