In the aftermath of a soaring inflation report two weeks ago – showing that June's prices were rising at their fastest rate in over 40 years and inflation was at its highest level since 1982 – the Federal Reserve announced earlier today it was again hiking interest rates and would continue its aggressive campaign of increases through the end of 2022. Bank officials signaled more rate increases are on the way.

There’s a critical Mid-Term Election coming up in November, so Joe Biden and his fellow Open-Borders, "Defund the Police," and Soft-On-Crime Democrats want you to believe that they’ve actually been focused on – and have all along cared about – the nation's escalating level of crime. In reality, the only thing they’re focused on is reelection, and they're playing big time defense on crime.

In mid-June the New York Times pointed out: “The (Biden) effort to stabilize the oil market… is at odds with his stated ambition to move the country to Electric Cars & Renewable Energy.” Then on CNN last Thursday, Senior Biden Adviser Brian Deese gave the nation a hint of what's really going on: “You heard from the president today... This is about the future of the Liberal World Order, and we have to stand firm.” It gets worse.

"Over the last year, far more Americans have switched to the GOP – from Denver to Atlanta & Pittsburgh to Cleveland – as Republicans also have substantial gains in counties around medium-size cities. Nowhere is the shift more pronounced – and dangerous for Democrats – than in the suburbs, where the well-educated swing voters appear to be swinging back."

Taking a page out of Bill Clinton's playbook, Joe Biden’s strategy to “deny, deny, deny” there's any link between his policies and inflation is a recipe for failure – and deep, deep recession. But it shouldn't be a surprise to the Biden White House that there are studies documenting the linkage. Americans should expect growth to be terrible, and inflation to rise further well into 2023.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has characterized Biden's "Gas Tax Holiday" idea as a "public relations stunt." Senator Tom Carper – a Delaware Democrat from Mr. Biden's home state who chairs the Environment & Public Works Committee – called the proposal “shortsighted & inefficient.” As the frustration builds, have top party Democrats begun to revolt against Joe Biden?

A whopping 48 out of 50 States now have a higher "Disapproval" than "Approval" rating for Joe Biden's job as president – Hawaii & Vermont are the outliers. Even Biden's home state of Delaware, as well as left-wing bastions like California, Massachusetts & New York all have him underwater according to the sophisticated polling system used by Civiqs.

GasBuddy is predicting that gas prices this coming Memorial Day Weekend will not only be higher than any other Memorial Day on record, but will be a full $1 per gallon more expensive than the previous Memorial Day record set in 2014, $3.99 per gallon. And, more and more analysts are predicting continued record prices at the pump, climbing above $6 a gallon by the end of the summer.

The chances of Joe Biden winning the 2024 Democrat Nomination are not looking good. There's not a Democrat I talk to – and there are a bunch with ideologically-diverse views – that thinks he gets the nod in '24. They acknowledge he'll sink them in the mid-terms, and after being assigned the blame will be shoved aside in 2024. The most interesting part? This is being taken as a given by many Democrats.
