As Another Key Inflation Gauge Sets 40-Year High, Average U.S. Households Will Pay $5,200 More in 2022

“Inflation will mean that the average U.S. household has to spend an extra $433 more per month for the same consumption basket” of goods, wrote two Bloomberg economists after Thursday's announcement that a key measure of inflation accelerated at its fastest year-over-year rate in 40 years – since January 1982. Some economists believe inflation will likely worsen in the coming months.

While the undocumented immigrants being released have reportedly been processed with Background & Criminal Checks, the normal procedure of transporting them to facilities in Eagle Pass, Texas for housing is not possible due to lack of capacity there. As a result, "the federal government has instructed Local Border Patrol to start releasing these individuals," including at a Stripes Convenience Store in Uvalde, TX.

Ukraine Civilian Casualties are Likely 5 Times Higher than U.N.'s Reports

"Our analysis indicates that almost all of the attacks (of artillery, missiles and aircraft attacks,) have been in front of Russian Ground Troops to support ground operations. Gov. Abbott Provides Additional $38.4 Million for Operation Lone Star Border Funding

​​​​​​​"This additional funding will strengthen our response to the Border Crisis and ensure that our Law Enforcement & Local Partners have the resources they need to keep our communities safe in the federal government's absence," said Gov, Greg Abbott, announced that his Public Safety Office (PSO) will award an additional $38.4 million for the Texas Border Sheriff Coalition and law enforcement, jail operations, and court administration to support Operation Lone Star (OLS).
