There are currently 10 states that voted one way for president in 2020, but have a governor from the other party in office. That means that this year’s most vulnerable incumbent governors are Democrats. So while Democrats may like to brag that they haven’t lost an incumbent governor's race since 2014, that streak is bound to be snapped this year – and Republicans are playing offense.

"With the end of Title 42 expulsions looming next month, Texas will immediately begin taking unprecedented action to do what no state has done in American history to secure our border," said Gov. Since Operation Lone Star was launched by Gov. Abbott on March 6th, 2021 , more than 225,000 migrants have been apprehended, more than 13,027 criminal arrests have been made — with more than 10,400 Felony Charges — and over 3,500 weapons have been confiscated, almost $30 million in currency has been seized, and over 289 million lethal doses of the deadly drug fentanyl has been seized by DPS. That's just for starters.

There's no 'strategic' air campaign that we can see," said one of the three senior U.S. officials quoted. Said another of the officers, ​​​​"No one in Russia is twisting into a pretzel to avoid civilian deaths. We're not yet even seeing the worst of it."

There's been ample evidence to say that the FBI spied on candidate Donald Trump's campaign — but on Friday we learned about another type of spying from Special Counsel John Durham's investigation and Court Filing. Durham reported that secret internet traffic data was "mined" from the Executive Office of the President of the United States and "exploited" after Trump was elected.

Governor Greg Abbott reported that 27 State Agencies are responding to the impact of the storm to ensure that Texans have the support and resources they need to stay safe. Importantly, Abbott also noted that the Texas power grid is fully functioning and continues to be reliable.

While President Biden's daily "Job Approval" rating is down to just 38%, voter's "Economic Confidence" in Rasmussen's latest poll is down nearly 2% from December's already low numbers. And, most voters even say they believe the U.S. Senate’s filibuster is such an “important distinction” between the U.S. House and Senate that it is worth preserving.

As Consumer Prices increased by the the largest annual rate since June 1982, experts now say they fear a wage-price spiral could raise costs even more in the future – heaping further pressure on President Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats to address what has become the biggest threat to the U.S. economy in decades. Home Food Prices have risen 6.5% over the last 12 months.

President Joe Biden's support has eroded more among Hispanic Voters than any other racial group. While Biden won 63% of Hispanic voters in 2020, a recent Wall Street Journal Poll shows that Hispanic voters would split their vote in a 2024 rematch if the vote were taken today – 44% for Biden and 43% for Trump. And believe it or not, it gets worse from there.

With consumer prices and annual inflation rates reaching near 40-year highs of 6.8% in November, AmericaNs are bracing for the highest level of inflation in nearly a decade during 2022 as nationwide fears for inflation accelerated at a new record high rate in November. And, the Labor Department announced that the recent Food & Energy price increases were the fastest 12-month gains seen in over 13 years.
