How can Texas be more successful in building affordable workforce housing – efficiently & safely – like some other areas across the country are doing? Our cities need to revisit their restrictive minimum lot size laws to make way for property rights approaches that help solve Texas’ housing shortage crisis. If we don’t make housing attainable for our growing workforce, Texas will lose its competitive edge.

In 2023, the maximum a person can pay out of pocket for healthcare costs is $9,100–$18,200 for a family. And according to the U.S. Census, the Median Household Income in Texas is $67,321, which means it’s not likely that most families – especially those impacted by chronic disease – can afford to pay that much out of pocket. Customs & Border Protection officials announced late Friday that they had stopped 251,487 illegal immigrants along the Mexican Border in December – the highest number of illegal border crossers recorded during any month of Joe Biden's presidency. Yes, contrary to what Americans typically see or hear – and are told by the Mainstream Media – reliance on wind and solar power actually increases the costs of your electric bills.
